The datasets behind an Oakland report
Everything this product says about an Oakland building is read from public records published by the City of Oakland and the Alameda County Assessor on data.oaklandca.gov — read live, attributed on every line, and never resold as anything but what it is. This page lists the datasets we read most, each linked to the publisher's own page for it. Those bodies do not produce, review or endorse this service.

The parcel half of an Oakland report is the county's, not the city's: Alameda County's seven secured assessment rolls, its ownership transfer list and its parcel map, published on the assessor's own services rather than on the city portal. The city publishes no building permits, no inspections and no code-enforcement cases, so no such dataset appears above.
Plus federal context named where it appears — FEMA flood zones, USGS seismic data, census figures, FCC broadband, the National Register — and OpenStreetMap for the maps. How current each feed is running is public too: the source health page.
